Most of the people around the world consider Pakistan as a Islamic country, while there are millions of Christians and other minorities. Pakistan was a secular democratic country from 1947-1956. Quaid-e-Azam also said in Presidential address to the Constituent Assembly of Pakistan: “You are free; you are free to go to your temples, you are free to go to your mosques or to any other place or worship in this State of Pakistan. You may belong to any religion or caste or creed that has nothing to do with the business of the State. Now I think we should keep that in front of us as our ideal and you will find that in course of time Hindus would cease to be Hindus and Muslims would cease to be Muslims, not in the religious sense, because that is the personal faith of each individual, but in the political sense as citizens of the State.” But After 1971 as extremists muslims were empowered by the dictator General Zia-ul-Haq, they started to work to make Pakistan a Islamic country, removed the work of Christians for building Pakistan from the history of Pakistan and introduced Islamic judicial law, closed the doors of jobs, education for Christians in order to oppress and persecute them. Many times Christians homes, churches were burnt by muslim mobs, Muslim mobs many times burn Christians alive in a fire furnace and killed them in the public by accusing them for blasphemy. Christians have become weak that they cannot raise their voice. Europe and America have empowered muslims to make Pakistan a secular country with diplomatic affairs, but the corrupt political leadership uses billions of dollars for their luxurious life and to empower jihadists. Their first priority is to weaken Christians and other minorities politically within the Islamic states, as in Pakistan and then grow themselves in numbers and politics in Europe and America to be in a influential position to change the laws and policies.

We arranged a National Education Contribution Award Ceremony on October 5th, 2015 to highlight the work of the Christian Teachers who are working as Nation builders but never were recognized or rewarded by the Pakistani government because they were Christians (Religious and Ethnic minority). These Teachers serve the Nation of Pakistan and Humanities towards building a educated society. In the History of Pakistan from 65 years, there has never been a event arranged in honoring Christian Teachers.
The purpose of this event was to work as a bridge to create a friendly environment between Christians and Muslims and recognize Christian minority in Pakistan. Our hope in doing this activity is for the majority to see and know the effectual work of minorities. Federal Minister Mr. Rana Mubashar Iqbal, Dr. Christy Munir Board of Director FC College and Dar-Ul-Hikmat College were also present on this event. Let’s together encourage the Nation Builders worldwide.
