God says My sheep wandered over all the mountains and on every high hill. They were scattered over the whole earth, and no one searched or looked for them. Does Jesus care about the oppressed and persecuted? Will you be punished for not strengthening the weak? Christians around the world are not United, they are divided in denominations and shattered by the enemy. No one is trying to unite them at all. God says you are not searching for his lost people, who are scattered over the whole earth. Christians are divided into groups politically, socially, economically, spiritually, there are different class for every group.

They don’t raise their voice for The Kingdom of God, for the Honor of Jesus, To save Humanity and Peace. While Jesus called us Peacemakers, while Jesus appointed us to transform nations.

Ezekiel wrote in his book 34 chapter The word of the Lord came to me: “Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel; prophesy and say to them: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Woe to you shepherds of Israel who only take care of yourselves! Should not shepherds take care of the flock? You eat the curds, clothe yourselves with the wool and slaughter the choice animals, but you do not take care of the flock. You have not strengthened the weak or healed the sick or bound up the injured. You have not brought back the strays or searched for the lost. You have ruled them harshly and brutally. So they were scattered because there was no shepherd, and when they were scattered they became food for all the wild animals. My sheep wandered over all the mountains and on every high hill. They were scattered over the whole earth, and no one searched or looked for them.”

God says my flock lacks a shepherd and so has been plundered and has become food for all the wild animals, and because my shepherds did not search for my flock but cared for themselves rather than for my flock. Christians are being killed by Islamists and Islamic governments. But No one raise voice for them.

Who is weak

In ancient times Israelites were a minority, one family on the surface of earth that was following God while other nations were worshiping false gods and were giving blood sacrifices to their gods, they were shedding blood of their children. So the other tribes and kingdoms were against Israelites.

In the present days, Christians are called new-covenants Israelites, as they believe in the Messiah of Jews. Christians who are the biggest population of the world as 2.5 billion, their small minorities are living in Islamic counties. They are peaceful and therefore they are persecuted in these Islamic countries. The same call, the same word God gave to Ezekiel for His people and warned the leaders of Israelites for not caring His people, the same call is for Christians around the world, who are in power, who are well settled, who are strong politically, socially and economically, God is warning them to care for his People – To care for their fellow Believers. Who are being persecuted and oppressed, killed and living a life slavery.

Every one of us know about the prophecy of Prophet Isaiah

Isaiah 61:1-3

1 The Lord God’s spirit is upon me,
because the Lord has anointed me.
He has sent me
to bring good news to the poor,
    to bind up the brokenhearted,
    to proclaim release for captives,
        and liberation for prisoners,
2 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor
and a day of vindication for our God,
    to comfort all who mourn,
3 to provide for Zion’s mourners,
to give them a crown in place of ashes,
oil of joy in place of mourning,
a mantle of praise in place of discouragement.
They will be called Oaks of Righteousness,
planted by the Lord to glorify himself.

The same reference Jesus quote when He went to Nazareth, where he had been raised. On the Sabbath he went to the synagogue as he normally did and stood up to read as written in Luke 4:16-21. The synagogue assistant gave him the scroll from the prophet Isaiah. He unrolled the scroll and found the place where it was written:

18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me,
because the Lord has anointed me.
He has sent me to preach good news to the poor,
to proclaim release to the prisoners
and recovery of sight to the blind,
    to liberate the oppressed,
19     and to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor. [Isaiah 61:1, 2; 58:6]

20 He rolled up the scroll, gave it back to the synagogue assistant, and sat down. Every eye in the synagogue was fixed on him. 21 He began to explain to them, “Today, this scripture has been fulfilled just as you heard it.”

Good Shepherd

In the Book of Ezekiel, there is a prophecy about a good shepherd. For this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I myself will search for my sheep and look after them. 12 As a shepherd looks after his scattered flock when he is with them, so will I look after my sheep. I will rescue them from all the places where they were scattered on a day of clouds and darkness. 13 I will bring them out from the nations and gather them from the countries, and I will bring them into their own land. I will pasture them on the mountains of Israel, in the ravines and in all the settlements in the land. 14 I will tend them in a good pasture, and the mountain heights of Israel will be their grazing land. There they will lie down in good grazing land, and there they will feed in a rich pasture on the mountains of Israel. 15 I myself will tend my sheep and have them lie down, declares the Sovereign Lord. 16 I will search for the lost and bring back the strays. I will bind up the injured and strengthen the weak, but the sleek and the strong I will destroy. I will shepherd the flock with justice.

we also know that Jesus said “I Am The Good Shepherd” Jesus also talked in the same reference about a wolf, that attack the sheep and scatter them. We Christians are attacked and scatter through a system and we are caught up in this system this way, that even we know our brothers and sisters are being persecuted and killed, our brothers are facing biggest injustice but we are caught up in this system that we can’t raise a voice, we don’t show unity. Though we are in power we don’t use that power, we don’t show the power of unity. The unity of 2.5 billion Christians. Do we not know that the most of the UN head staff and governing staff are Christians by faith? The leaders of the states, Prime Ministers and presidents and Politicians in western countries are christians. The biggest international social platforms and their governing body members are Christians by faith. Then why we are not raising voice against persecution, killing for religion, why we are not telling the world about the coming Kingdom of Jesus. The biggest business empires owners are western christians. Why we are not empowering persecuted christians, while these empires give billions of dollars for millions of Muslim refugees. But remember, we are answerable to God for all of this. God will judge us through His word, He himself honors His word. He cares for His sheep.

John 10:11-18New International Version

11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. 12 The hired hand is not the shepherd and does not own the sheep. So when he sees the wolf coming, he abandons the sheep and runs away. Then the wolf attacks the flock and scatters it. 13 The man runs away because he is a hired hand and cares nothing for the sheep.

14 “I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me— 15 just as the Father knows me and I know the Father —and I lay down my life for the sheep. 16 I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd. 17 The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life—only to take it up again. 18 No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father.”
